The Ector County Sheriff’s Office is warning citizens about a phone scam soliciting money for their office.
Multiple calls were received from citizens this morning advising that a caller was soliciting donations to support ECSO and asking for credit card information, an ECSO news release stated.
The release detailed that this is a phone scam and not a legitimate call from ECSO. Anyone who receives such a call is advised to hang up.
