Deputies arrested a 15-year-old juvenile Tuesday afternoon following a vehicle pursuit that ended when the driver struck a power pole.
Officers were called about a black Chevrolet Avalanche with Mexico tags involved in several hit and runs involving fences and stop signs around 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, an Ector County Sheriff’s Office news release stated.
After locating the truck, a pursuit was initiated, the release detailed, which ended about five minutes later after the juvenile reportedly lost control and struck a power pole at Dunn Street and Stephanie Avenue.
The juvenile was reportedly intoxicated, the release stated, and taken to Medical Center Hospital for minor injuries.
Charges are pending, the release stated.
