The Life Center benefit concert featuring Jenness Rouse and Friends is 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center, 1310 N. FM 1788, Midland.
West Texas native Rouse is an award-winning film producer, writer, actor and singer currently based in Los Angeles. Rouse produced and starred in a summer concert series in L.A. this year with saxophone artist Willy Ekoué and his wife, harpist Maïwen Ekoué, known professionally as Sonates en Duo. This event will mark their first appearance in Texas.
David Corman, director of vocal studies at Odessa College, will take the stage for a finale.
