One person was transported to Medical Center Hospital Tuesday morning following an explosion, Ector County Sheriff’s Office Spokesman Sgt. Gary Duesler said.
Deputies were called about the explosion around 10:10 a.m. Tuesday at IronPillar Energy, 7821 Andrews Highway.
Duesler said the explosion was caused by a welding machine.
The condition of the person injured was unavailable.
