Odessa Arts and the City of Odessa will host a reception for the artists from the Basin 52 art exhibit from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday (Oct. 26) before the City Council meeting.
“Basin 52 is an exhibit of 52 artworks created by artists from around the Permian Basin. These pieces will be displayed at City Hall, Municipal Plaza, the Odessa Marriott Hotel & Conference Center, and the MCM Elegante throughout 2022,” Odessa Arts Executive Director Randy Ham said in a news release.
In addition to the exhibit, Odessa Arts with the help of Ink Lion Designs, created a custom deck of cards with the images from the exhibit. These custom decks are available at local merchants.
Light bites will be provided by the MCM Elegante hotel, and Erik Madrid will perform on the guitar.
This reception is free and open to the public.
