TxDOT warns drivers about one-way frontage roads

The Texas Department of Transportation sent an urgent message that its seeing an alarmingly high number of motorists turning the wrong way on the service roads between West Loop 250 and Midkiff.

This is despite the signage that clearly indicating the south service road is for eastbound traffic and the north service road is for westbound traffic. (Like every other major road in Texas that has one-way frontage roads, people should always turns right, not left on to a one-way frontage road.)

In this project, we have signs on the side streets telling the drivers to turn right. Most, if not all, driveways are marked for one-way direction.

North Frontage Road: turn right out of driveways/side streets to go westbound.

South Frontage Road: turn right out of driveways/side streets to go eastbound.
