I understand the City of Odessa is looking for a place and a way to build a new fire station. I recommend a solution.

There is a site on the northwest corner of East 92nd Street and Rainbow Drive, across from Barbara Jordan school. It is ideally located in the midst of thousands of houses and lots of apartments. There are even more houses currently under development in the contiguous area. This site would be respondable to crashes in the northern parts of West County Road/Loop 338/HWY 385/HWY 158. All the necessary infrastructure is located to accommodate a fire station.

By golly, it looks just like a fire station that was converted to a community center!

Only a small fraction of the expense to develop and construct a new station house is necessary to convert this back to a station house.
