ODESSA Shelby Levins of Midland and Brooks Landgraf of Odessa plan to marry Sept. 28 at the Brooks Ranch near Marathon. Brooks proposed to Shelby in New York’s Central Park last December.

Shelby is the daughter of Dr. Randale H. Levins of Kaiserslautern, Germany, and Dr. Lindsey Larberg of Bellville. Her grandparents are the late Hollis and Juanita Levins of Andrews and the late Herb and Ruth Larberg of Bellville. Shelby graduated from General H. H. Arnold High School in Wiesbaden, Germany, and graduated with honors from Trinity University in San Antonio. She is currently the evening anchor for KMID Big 2 News.

Brooks is the son of John and Beverly Landgraf of Odessa. His grandparents are Lester and Jean Landgraf of Silsbee, Polly Brooks Harper of San Angelo and the late Conoly and Peggy Brooks of Fort Stockton. Brooks graduated from Permian High School. He graduated cum laude from Texas A&M University and earned his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio. Brooks is chief counsel for Medical Center Health System.

The couple plans to honeymoon in Belize.
