KAUAI, HAWAII Madeline Jane Boles and David Bennett Scofield of Kennedyville, Maryland have plans to marry on September 19, 2014 in Kauai, Hawaii.

Madeline is the daughter of Jane and Burnace Boles of Odessa, Texas. She is the granddaughter of the late Dr. T.S. and Margaret McIntire and the late Bill and Pauline Boles. She is a graduate of Odessa High School, Texas Tech University, and received her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University. She received training in Veterinary Medical Acupuncture at Colorado State University and practices small animal medicine for the Churchville Veterinary Group in Churchville, Maryland.

David is the son of Robert and Susan Scofield of Wilmington, Delaware. He is the grandson of William and Allison Bennett of Albany, New York and the late Raymond and Francis Scofield. David is a graduate of Wilmington Friends School, Wake Forrest University, and received a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State. He completed a residency at Colorado State University’s Equine Reproduction Laboratory and is currently board certified in the American College of Theriogenologists. He practices equine reproduction and medicine for Select Breeders Services-Veterinary Services, LLC in Chesapeake City, Maryland.
