BROWNFIELD Mike and Shavonica Wallace of Lovington, N.M., announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter Kelsie Wallace of Lovington to Tyler Hendricks of Odessa, son of Steve and Tammy Hendricks of Odessa.

Kelsie is the granddaughter of Joe and Jeane Stewart of Lovington, Fred Soules of Sonora, CA, and Ron and Ella Wallace of Zephyr, TX.

 Tyler is the grandson of Gail Pool of Odessa, Bill and Sue Gable of Liberty Hill, TX, and Darrell and Eunice Phillips of Georgetown, TX.

 Kelsie is a 2010 graduate of Lovington High School and a 2013 graduate of South Plains College in Levelland, TX with an Associates of Applied Arts in Commercial Music, Sound Reinforcement, and Entertainment Business. Kelsie is employed by Crossroads Fellowship Church in Odessa as a worship intern.

 Tyler is a 2005 graduate of Permian High School, a 2009 graduate of Texas Tech University in Lubbock, with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, and a 2013 graduate of South Plains College in Levelland with an Associates in Arts of Sound Technology. Tyler is also employed at Crossroads Fellowship Church as a media assistant.

They will pursue the ministry together. Kelsie and Tyler met in 2011 at a Christian small group, The Coffee Bean Club, that Kelsie held in her apartment while attending South Plains College. They became good friends and in March of 2013 they went on their first date. Tyler asked Kelsie to marry him on November 5, 2013 at a surprise engagement party at The Funky Door in Lubbock, TX that their family and close friends attended.

 Kelsie and Tyler will be married in a private ceremony on September 6, 2014 in Brownfield, TX.
