GOOD NEWS: Donation

Grande Communications, the Texas-based broadband communications company, recently presented a $2,000 check donation to Crisis Center of West Texas. This donation is part of Grande’s employee philanthropy club, Grande Cares, where employees seek to enhance the communities where they provide service and where they live, work and play. Crisis Center of West Texas provides free services to adult survivors of domestic and sexual violence and their minor children. Their grant will help purchase groceries, school supplies, childcare services, fuel, bus tickets and many other things. Last year the Crisis Center provided services to 490 survivors and their children. Crisis Center of West Texas exists to help build lives free of violence and to end domestic and sexual violence through community awareness and education. Grande Communications is committed to helping the community of Odessa and will continue donating to local organizations.
