Posted: Sunday, October 13, 2019 3:00 am

Medical Center Health System’s Cardiovascular/Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program achieved its certification from the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. To earn reaccreditation, the hospital’s program has to complete an application process that requires extensive documentation of practices. As the only peer review accreditation process, the AACVPR program certification is designed to review individual programs for adherence to the highest standards of guidelines developed and published by a group of professional societies in the field. The certification is valid for three years. AACVPR-certified programs are leaders in cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation because they offer the most advanced practices available and have proven track records of high quality patient care.
