GOOD NEWS: UW announces Community Impact funding

United Way of Odessa recently announced $1,094,000 of Community Impact funding to 31 health, education and self sufficiency programs in Ector County.

Each member agency joins United Way of Odessa in creating a wide reaching collective impact on the greater Ector County community.

Each partner program offers a distinct service that meets a critical need in the community. Together, United Way of Odessa and the member agencies are strengthening individuals and families, making a difference and creating great lasting changes across Ector County.

United Way of Odessa community investments are made possible by the generosity of thousands of individuals and hundreds of organizations and companies who donate to United Way of Odessa’s annual fundraising campaign.

The 2019-20 community partners are: Boys & Girls Club of Odessa, Camp Fire West Texas, CASA of the Permian Basin, Catholic Charities Odessa, Centers for Children & Families, Communities in Schools, Crisis Center of West Texas, Family Promise of Odessa, Family Crisis Center of the Big Bend, Girl Scouts of the DSW.

Harmony Home Children’s Advocacy Center, Meals on Wheels Odessa, Mission Center Adult Day Service, Odessa Christmas In Action, Odessa Day Nursery, Odessa Family Y, Odessa Links, Permian Basin Mission Center, Safe Place of the Permian Basin, SHARE and Salvation Army Odessa.
