Students Amaya Villanueva, 10th grader at Falcon Early College High School and Sofia Patino, fifth grader at Milam Elementary, were recognized at Ector County Independent School District’s board meeting for winning the Mission 13 Student Spaceflight Experiments Program Mission Patch Art and Design Competition. Their original artwork will fly to the International Space Station on the SpaceX CRS-18 on July 18 and return certified flown in space.
