GRADUATES

HUNTSVILLE Kimber Cox and Catherine Ritzi, both of Alpine, Max Lannom of Fort Davis and America Estepan of Seminole all graduated from Sam Houston State University during the spring semester.

Cox earned a Bachelor of Arts, History, Cum Laude, Ritzi, Bachelor of Arts, English, Magna Cum Laude; Lannom, Bachelor of Science, Biology, Magna Cum Laude; and Estepan, Bachelor of Science, Biology.

LEAVENWORTH, KAN. Erika Alvarado of Seminole graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science in elementary education from the University of Saint Mary during the spring semester.

LEVELLAND Local and area students graduated from South Plains College during the spring semester.

DEAN’S LIST

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO. Jessica Parris of Odessa has been named to the Southeast Missouri State University Dean’s List for academic achievement during the spring 2021 semester.

Students named to the list earned at least a 3.75 grade point average on a 4.0 scale, completed at least 12 hours of standard graded credit, achieved no grade below a B and received no failing grades in enrolled, credit/no credit or pass/fail courses.

MAGNOLIA, ARK. Hattie Jovita Green of Odessa was named to the Southern Arkansas University’s during the spring semester.

To qualify students must earned a 3.5 grade point average or higher.

Green is a junior Exercise Science (Pre-Professional) major with a minor in Entrepreneurship.
