MIDLAND American Momentum Bank has partnered with the Midland RockHounds, the Double-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics, to honor local heroes.

American Momentum is sponsoring the RockHounds’ Hometown Heroes program during the 2021 season, which recognizes individuals who have made a lasting impact in the community. Heroes are recognized at the team’s Thursday, Friday and Saturday home games at Momentum Bank Ballpark.

Community members may nominate Hometown Heroes online at the RockHounds website, in the Community section. The team welcomes nominations for active and veteran military service members, first responders and medical professionals, community leaders and volunteers, and educators.

Each Hometown Hero receives four reserved-seating tickets to the game at which they will be recognized, a $25 RockHounds gift card and a certificate presented during the game.

“There are so many people who deserve to be recognized for their service and contributions to our community and our country,” Jarod Thomas, American Momentum Bank West Texas President, said. “We’re proud and honored to help recognize the men and women who are dedicated to making our communities and country the very best.”

In addition to sponsoring the 2021 Hometown Heroes program, American Momentum Bank holds the naming rights to the RockHounds’ stadium, Momentum Bank Ballpark.
