Samantha Hogue and Kyle Wakeland were united in marriage on Saturday May 30, 2015, in Dallas. Following the private ceremony the couple was surrounded by their loving family for a reception at the Y.O. Steakhouse in the downtown West End District.

 The bride is the daughter of Glen and Annette Hogue of Odessa. The groom is the son of Chris and Sherry Wakeland of Maypearl.

The grandparents of the bride are the late Joe and the late Christine Firestone; and the late Glen Eugene and the late Dollie Hogue. The grandparents of the groom are the late Donald and Adah Ray; and Jimmy Wakeland and Patsy Park.

 Samantha attended Permian High School in Odessa. Kyle attended Maypearl High School.

 Both are graduates of Abilene Christian University where they met.

 The couple each hold careers in public accounting and will reside in Dallas.
