The Odessa Roughnecks have signed former af2 defensive lineman Jon Williams to the roster for the upcoming 2010 season.

Williams, a 6-foot-2, 260-pound graduate of Texas College, spent the 2009 season with the af2’s Arkansas Twisters, a team that finished 11-5 and made the playoffs.

Through nine games with the Twisters, Williams made 23 tackles, two sacks and caught two passes offensively.

Williams is expected to play defensive line, linebacker and fullback for the Roughnecks next season.
