Football: San Angelo Lake View 48, Greenwood 24

GREENWOOD San Angelo Lake View’s Dominic Manuel connected with quarterback Paxton Martin 13 times for five touchdowns and 281 yards, including four in the second quarter, to push Lake View past Greenwood 48-24 Friday.

Martin also found J.D. Smith in the end zone twice to bookend the scoring for Lake View.

Greenwood got on the scoreboard in the first quarter with a 36-yard Mark Burfeind kick, and scored a touchdown in each of the last three quarters.

Martin finished the night completing 30 of 36 passes for 448 yards and seven touchdowns. He also ran the ball three times for 11 yards.

Greenwood quarterback Trey Edwards completed 14-0f-29 passes for 219 yards and ran the ball 20 times for 84 yards.
