College baseball: UTPB sweeps Heartland twinbill
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Logan Forrest hit three home runs to lead the UTPB Falcons to a doubleheader sweep of Texas A&M International in a Heartland Conference baseball double-header Friday at Roden Field.
Forrest hit two solo home runs to help UTPB win the first game 11-7, and he had a solo shot to help the Falcons win the second game 9-5.
Will Basom hit two two-run shots and drove in four runs for UTPB (21-10 overall, 18-9 conference) in the first game.
UTPB reliever Jordan Strode earned saves in both contests.
