The UTPB men’s soccer team will try to keep its momentum going at 1 p.m. today against Heartland Conference leader St. Edward’s in Austin.

The Falcons (4-10-1, 2-6-0) are coming off of Friday night’s 1-0 upset over Heartland power Incarnate Word.

Ulises Guillen made a run up the middle and beat Incarnate Word goalie Ryan Eschenburg almost as soon as the second half started to score the game’s only goal.

Freshman goalkeeper Chris Benavides sealed the match with seven saves.

Earlier this season, St. Edward’s beat UTPB 2-0 at Falcon Field in Odessa.
