College volleyball: UTPB splits at tourney

STEPHENVILLE Amithy Henry had 14 kills and Holly Atnip had 12 kills to help UTPB defeat Tarleton State 17-25, 25-19, 25-25-23, 25-22 on Friday at the Tarleton State Tournament.

UTPB lost to Texas Woman's College 25-22, 21-25, 24-26, 25-22, 19-17 at the tournament despite 25 kills from Henry and 51 assists from Brianna Ausdenmoore.

Ausdenmoore had 36 assists and 17 digs and Ashley Alba had 14 digs for UTPB against Tarleton State.

Molly Atnip had 12 digs, Ausdenmoore had 11 digs and Mica Lambrecht had 10 digs against Texas Women's College.

UTPB plays Midwestern State and Central Oklahoma at the tournament today.
