Central Hockey League: Thinel honored for February play

Odessa Jackalopes forward Sebastien Thinel was announced Wednesday as the Sherwood/TPS Player of the Month for February in the Central Hockey League.
Thinel scored 28 points (eight goals, 20 assists) in 10 games during the month, including a five-assist effort against Colorado on Feb. 6. He then capped the month with a four-point night, including three goals, on Saturday against Amarillo.
Thinel, who has 81 points, and the Jackalopes return to Ector County Coliseum at 7:05 p.m. Friday against the Corpus Christi IceRays.
