Hockey: Jackalopes win eighth in a row

The Odessa Jackalopes won their eighth consecutive game Saturday, defeating Amarillo 5-2 at Ector County Coliseum.
Dominic Leveille scored twice to lead the offensive surge for the Jackalopes.
Jeff Pierce, Collin Circelli and Mike Lesperance also scored for Odessa, which host the Gorillas again at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Juha Toivonen made 28 saves to earn the victory in goal.
