Premier Development League: Sockers beat Jesters

NEW ORLEANS The West Texas United Sockers continued to make a late-season push to respectability by knocking off the New Orleans Jesters 2-1 on the road at Pan American Stadium Thursday night.
Stats were not provided for the Premier Development League match.
By virtue of the win, the Sockers (5-9-0, 15 points) have picked up their second consecutive win, but West Texas United has been eliminated from the playoffs for several weeks.
