West Texas United Soccer Club
Comments 0 | Recommend 0The West Texas United Soccer Club ‘96 girls team recently traveled with family and friends to attend the U.S. Women‘s National Soccer League vs. Canada at the new Pizza Hut Soccer Complex in Frisco. The girls wore pink jerseys to match the USA team’s in recognition of Breast Cancer awareness and Mother’s Day. It was the first time the U.S. Women‘s team has ever worn a jersey other than the team designated outfit.
The WTUSC ‘96 girls previously attended the men’s professional soccer league Dallas vs. Houston game in the fall, and were chosen to escort the Dallas team on to the field in the opening ceremonies. They also were in attendance at the MLS Men’s soccer final in Texas this past year.
