OKLAHOMA CITY Angelo State University senior Raelyn Smith shot a second-round 65 Tuesday en route to a 10-stroke victory in the Cheddar’s UCO Classic women’s golf tournament at Lincoln Park Golf Course.

A 2006 Permian High School graduate, Smith opened with a 71 and was tied with two other players heading into the final round. Her 65 in the second round gave her a 36-hole total of 4-under par 136 and a 10-shot victory over Emily Kvinta of St. Edward’s (146).

Smith, an NCAA Division II All-American as a junior last season, helped Angelo State to a fourth-place finish out of 18 teams.
