Central Hockey League: Jackalopes, Brahmas will start series Friday

The Odessa Jackalopes will open their Southern Conference semifinal series in the Central Hockey League playoffs at 7:05 p.m. Friday against the Texas Brahmas at Ector County Coliseum.

Game 2 of the series will be at 7:05 p.m. Saturday before the series switches to North Richland Hills for Game 3 on March 31 and Game 4 on April 2.

The Brahmas, the defending CHL champions, defeated Corpus Christi 2-0 on Wednesday to win the Southern Conference play-in series.

Last season, the Brahmas beat the Jackalopes in a seven-game CHL Southern Conference Finals series.
