College golf: Second day of Division II Nationals wiped out by rain
Comments 0 | Recommend 0FINDLAY, OHIO The second round of the NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championships was postponed by rain Thursday at Findlay Country Club.
That means Angelo State University junior Raelyn Smith and the other players are scheduled to play 36 holes today to finish the second and third rounds.
Smith, a 2006 Permian High School graduate, is playing as an individual in the tournament and stands tied for 15th in the medalist standings after firing a 77 in Wednesday's first round.
The fourth and final round of the tournament is scheduled for Saturday.
