Central Hockey League: Jacks get another win

PRESCOTT VALLEY, ARIZ. Sebastien Thinel scored two goals, including a penalty shot, to lead the Odessa Jackalopes to a 3-1 victory Friday night over the Arizona Sundogs at Tims Toyota Center.
Jeff Pierce scored the other Jackalopes’ goal, with Collin Circelli adding a pair of assists in the club’s fifth consecutive victory. Goaltender Juha Toivonen stopped 26 of the 27 shots he faced on the night.
The victory improves Odessa to 30-6-3 on the season, the first team in the Central Hockey League to reach the 30-win plateau this year.
The Jackalopes, who have defeated Arizona in all five meetings this season, will face the Sundogs at 7:05 p.m. tonight.
