Texas League Baseball: RockHounds beat Missions

SAN ANTONIO Sonny Gray, in his first start for Midland, struck out three and walked one Wednesday while helping the RockHounds to a 5-1 Texas League baseball victory over San Antonio at Nelson Wolff Stadium.
Jonathan Ortiz, Trey Barham and Jon Meloan went the rest of the way for the RockHounds, who improved to 61-74, one day after being eliminated from playoff contention.
The Missions (90-45) scored their lone run with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning.
