HIDALGO Mike Ramsay recorded a hat trick over the final nine minutes of action Wednesday to lead the Odessa Jackalopes to a come-from-behind 5-4 victory over the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees.
Trailing 4-2 with less than eight minutes left in regulation, Ramsay scored a power play goal on an assist from Alex Dunn. Ramsay then tied the game at 18:21 of the third on assists from Phillippe Plante and Kenny Bernard.
Just 68 seconds into overtime, Ramsay scored again on an assist from Dave Van Drunen to give the Jackalopes and goalie Juha Toivonen the victory.
Collin Circelli scored the other two goals for the Jackalopes.
