Premier Development League soccer: West Texas United drops sixth straight

MIDLAND The West Texas United Sockers suffered their sixth consecutive loss Saturday, falling 3-0 to the Laredo Heat at Grande Communications Stadium.
Laredo (9-3, 27 points) scored two goals in the final 10 minutes of the game after leading 1-0 at halftime.
The Sockers (3-9, 9 points), who sit in last place in the Premier Development League’s Mid South Division, return to action at 8 p.m. July 2 when they play host to Chivas El Paso.
