Pro baseball: 'Hounds tumble at Citibank

MIDLAND The Frisco RoughRiders scored three runs in the seventh inning and went on to beat the Midland RockHounds 8-4 on Tuesday night in a Texas League baseball game at Citibank Ballpark.

Frisco loaded the bases with two outs against Midland starter Andrew Bailey on a single, a hit batter and a walk in the seventh. Elvin Andrus singled to center against Midland reliever Pat Currin to drive in two runs to make it 5-1, and a third run scored on the play when Midland's Aaron Cunningham mishandled the ball in the outfield.

Midland catcher Anthony Recker hit a two-out, two-run homer in the ninth, when Midland scored three runs.

The teams will meet at 11 a.m. today in Game 3 of the four-game series.
