Pro baseball: Frisco hangs on against Midland
Comments 0 | Recommend 0FRISCO Midland's late-inning rally came up short Monday, and the RockHounds ended up losing 8-5 to the Frisco RoughRiders in Texas League action.
Midland scored three times in the eighth inning to pull within three, but the RockHounds left the bases loaded.
Midland pitchers Henry Rodriguez and Jesus Silva allowed all eight runs in the first four innings. Jose Rojas threw three shutout innings in relief for the RockHounds.
Jon Zeringue drove in two runs for Midland.
