LUBBOCK Odessa College’s Jamie Warman carded a two-round total of 4-under-par 140 to take a five-shot lead after the first day of play Monday at the Chaps Fall Invitational, hosted by Lubbock Christian University at the Rawls Course.

Warman (69-71) helped stake the Wranglers to a team score of 591 and six-stroke lead over the host Chaps (597), with Oklahoma City University sitting in third at 598.

Odessa College’s Micah Rodgers is tied for ninth at 4-over-par 148 (72-76) heading into today’s final round.
