Premier Development League soccer: West Texas United drops another
MIDLAND The longest losing streak in West Texas United Sockers history continued Saturday with a 4-2 setback to Chivas El Paso in a Premier Development League soccer game at Grande Communications Stadium.
The Sockers (3-9, 9 points) are in last place in the PDL’s Mid South Division and have not won since beating Baton Rouge 2-1 on May 19. On the bright side, their two-goal outburst matched the total number of goals they scored in their previous six games.
No statistics were available by press time.
West Texas United returns to action at 7:30 p.m. Friday against the RGV Grandes.
