Central Hockey League: Jackalopes vs. Killer Bees

>> Outlook: The Jackalopes have struggled at home this season and still are looking for their first victory at Ector County Coliseum. The last time the Killer Bees came to the Permian Basin, they skated away with a 2-1 victory in the Jackalopes home opener Oct. 24. ... Rio Grande Valley, which played Thursday night in Laredo, is led by wingers Trevor Weisgerber (3 goals, 8 assists, 11 points) and Jesse Bennefield (4-6-10). The Killer Bees have been the most settled team so far this season, making just one roster move when they added goaltender Nathan Ansell on Oct. 28. ... The Jackalopes are led by forwards Dominic Leveille (6-16-22), Sebastien Thinel (8-13-21) and Jeff Pierce (4-14-18). Levielle is tied with Rich Hansen of Rapid City (S.D.) for the league lead in scoring, with Thinel sitting in third. Pierce is tied with Torren Delforte of New Mexico as the top rookie scorers in the league and his 13 assists leads all rookies.
