Central Hockey League: Jackalopes can't hang on in Colorado

LOVELAND, COLO. The Odessa Jackalopes collapsed Wednesday, falling 6-3 to the Colorado Eagles in Central Hockey League action.

The Jackalopes (40-11-4) took a 3-2 lead on Brian Swiniarski’s goal with 5 minutes, 38 seconds left in the game, only to watch the Eagles (35-13-7) score four goals to earn the victory.

Colorado’s Aaron Schneekloth had two of those four goals, while Kenny Bernard and Jeff Pierce scored the other two Jackalopes goals.

Odessa returns home to host Corpus Christi at 7:05 p.m. Friday at Ector County Coliseum.
