RockHounds back on track
Comments 0 | Recommend 0SPRINGDALE, Ark. Midland bounced back from its first loss in two weeks by beating Northwest Arkansas 5-1 Thursday night, one night after the Naturals snapped the RockHounds' 11-game winning streak.
Josh Outman (1-0) pitched five scoreless innings to earn his first win in a Midland uniform. Out-man allowed two hits and struck out two.
Tommy Everidge and Javier Herrera each collected two hits for the RockHounds, and Anthony Recker ended the RockHounds' scoring with a solo home run in the sixth inning.
Mario Lisson collected two hits and an RBI double for Northwest Arkansas. Blake Johnson (9-7) gave up seven hits, four walks and four runs in five innings to take the loss.
