Basketball: Seminole knocks off Odessa High
Comments 0 | Recommend 0SEMINOLE Leah Greenfield scored a team-high 14 points to lead Seminole to a 51-38 nondistrict victory Saturday afternoon at Seminole High School.
The game originally was scheduled for Friday night, but rescheduled because of Odessa High’s Class 5A Division I area playoff game at Ratliff Stadium.
Kelsey Hughes and Giselle Loya each added 12 points in the Maidens’ (3-1) victory.
The Lady Bronchos (1-3) were led by Danielle Cooper’s game-high 16 points, with LaTanya Mcmaryion adding 10 in the loss.
Odessa High returns to action at 6 p.m. Tuesday when it travels to Lubbock Monterey to open District 2-5A play.
