College softball: Gilliland lands at Abilene Christian

Former Midland Lee and Odessa College catcher Erin Gilliland has signed to play softball at Abilene Christian.
Gilliland hit .284 with 11 doubles, 21 RBIs and a team-leading five home runs in 48 games for the Lady Wranglers this season.
In 2009, she hit .333 for the Lady Wranglers in 22 games.
Odessa College finished ninth nationally for the second consecutive season.
