College softball: UTPB drops two more
Comments 0 | Recommend 0SAN ANGELO The UPTB softball team's early-season struggles continued Friday as it lost two games at the ASU Blue and Gold Classic at Angelo State University.
In the first game, the Lady Falcons (0-5) managed just one hit in a 9-0 loss to Missouri Western, which got a six-strikeout performance from Carla Anderson.
The second game for UTPB was against a familiar foe - West Texas A&M - and the Lady Buffs continued their dominance with a 10-0 victory in five innings, allowing just two hits.
West Texas A&M is now 4-0 this season, with all the victories being run-rule margins against the Lady Falcons.
