WOMEN'S COLLEGE BASKETBALL: Lady Falcons suffer tough loss

WICHITA, KAN. Alina Voronenko’s layup with nine seconds remaining capped Newman’s 12-1 run to end the game, and the Jets rallied to beat UTPB 69-67 Saturday in a battle for first place in Heartland Conference women’s basketball.
