Odessa High graduate Kylie Cowan had six digs and one ace to help the Oklahoma volleyball team upset No. 3 Texas 25-21, 9-25, 22-25, 25-23, 15-13 in Big 12 action.

A freshman, Cowan was playing in her second match of the season for the Sooners (9-12 overall, 5-8 conference).

Also for Oklahoma, freshman Caitlin Higgins from Amarillo Tascosa had 18 kills and 12 digs while freshman Brianne Barker from Amarillo High had 47 assists.
