MEN'S COLLEGE BASKETBALL: Wranglers face No. 1 Texans

The Odessa College men’s basketball team will have the opportunity to avenge one of its two conference losses tonight when it plays host to South Plains College at 7:45 at the OC Sports Center.
The Texans, who are ranked No. 1 in the country, defeated the Wranglers 71-62 when the teams met on Jan. 19 in Levelland.
Tenth-ranked Odessa College (21-3 overall, 6-2 Western Junior College Athletic Conference) defeated Frank Phillips College 86-72 Thursday in Odessa. Derrick Barden scored 29 points and grabbed 18 rebounds for Odessa College.
South Plains College (23-0, 8-0) stayed unbeaten by defeating Midland College 90-83 on Thursday in Levelland. Marshall Henderson scored 32 points in the win.
