College basketball: Lady Wranglers headed for double dip
Undefeated through the early going, the Odessa College women’s basketball team will put its unblemished mark on the line at 5:30 p.m. tonight against Hill College in Hillsboro.
The Lady Wranglers (7-0) will follow that up by playing at 2 p.m. Saturday against Ranger College.
Coupled with the Lady Wranglers’ early-season success, Odessa College has landed two players on the current roster with NCAA Division I programs.
Signing early to play at Syracuse, Judith Tabala, a 6-6 sophomore that is averaging 7.9 points and 8.6 rebounds per game this season. Chantelle Brockett, a 6-1 freshman averaging 6.9 points, signed with Lamar.
