College basketball: Lady Wranglers sweep competition at Tip-Off Classic

MIDLAND Led by Ali Bills, the Odessa College women’s basketball ran away from Eastern Arizona for a 75-43 victory to earn a tournament sweep in the Lady Wranglers’ final game of the Lady Chap Tip-Off Classic.

Bills poured in 15 points for Odessa College (4-0), a team that beat Jacksonville College and Yavapai in the first two games of the tournament.

Towanda Sutton added 10 points, and Chantelle Brockett led the Lady Wranglers with nine rebounds.

No player reached double-figures for Eastern Arizona, a team that Odessa College will play at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in Thatcher, Ariz.
