College basketball: Wranglers have no trouble against Wayland Baptist JV

The Odessa College men’s basketball team did away with one of the three JV teams on its schedule, defeating visiting Wayland Baptist JV 88-21 in its season opener Tuesday night at the OC Sports Center.

Josh Brown led the Wranglers with a game-high 23 points. Three others finished in double figures scoring: Thomas Schoeps (10), Rashad Savage (13) and Kadeem Coleby (10).

OC led 49-6 at halftime.
