Comments 0 | Recommend 0

ST. GEORGE, UTAH The Odessa College softball team, having split two games on Thursday, was eliminated from the 2009 NJCAA National Championships with a 12-inning, 3-2 loss Friday to Seward County (Kan.) Community College.

The Lady Wranglers (36-28) won their opening game Thursday in 13 innings against Wabash Valley (Ill.) College, then lost to top-ranked Yavapai College (Ariz.), 9-2, Thursday evening.

That put them in the elimination bracket against Seward College, which got a two-out inside-the-park home run by Katelyn Glenn to end the game.
